An unexpected happened last night on the streets of New York, where the UN General Assembly is being held.

Police, who had blocked the roads to cross Donald Trump’s motorway, stopped the French president’s car as he left the UN, where he had officially announced the recognition of the Palestinian state from France.

“I’m sorry, Mr President, everything is blocked right now,” one of the police say to Emmanuel Macron.

As a joke, the French president came out of the vehicle, phoned Trump and asked him to “open the way”.

“Guess, I am waiting for you on the street because everything is excluded for you,” Macron told the US president.

After several minutes, the road opened, but only for pedestrians. Thus, the French president headed to the French Embassy on foot, while also greeting the amazed passers -by who met him.
