A driver was killed when he fell with his car on its gate Russian Embassy in Bucharest early this morning, the Romanian capital’s police said in a statement.
Video recorded before firefighters arrived at the scene shows the front of the car engulfed in flames as it was still stuck at the gate of the Russian embassy.
Currently it has not been clarified whether it was an accident or a deliberate act.

In recent weeks, Russian embassies in other European countries have come under fire from protesters outraged by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Police said they were investigating the incident and did not release the driver’s name.
THE Romania announced yesterday, Tuesday, that it will deport 10 Russian diplomats who do not act in accordance with international rules, after other European countries that have done the same in recent days.
Nearly 624,860 Ukrainians have taken refuge in Romania since February 24, when Russia invaded their country, and about 80,000 are still in Romania.
