Armed robbery occurred today at Chanel jewelry store in its center Pariswith the perpetrators fleeing on motorcycles and wanted by the French police.
A video that went viral on Twitter shows a robber with an automatic weapon outside the jewelry store on the famous Rue de la Paix, a busy shopping street of the capital. Seconds later, three other robbers – all in black and wearing helmets – leave the store holding bags and escape on two motorcycles.
“It all happened very quickly and unfortunately the first police officers to arrive were on bicycles,” an eyewitness told Reuters.

Chanel announced that there was no injury and that he cooperates with the police. He did not reveal the value of the robbery.
