Panel SA: Bank in the US facilitates loan to buy house in Latino neighborhoods

by

BofA (Bank of America) launched a program to facilitate access to a loan in the acquisition of the first property in the United States with exemption of entry and cost of closing the mortgage.

The target audience is homebuyers in black and Latino neighborhoods in cities like Dallas (Texas), Los Angeles (California) and Miami (Florida).

According to the bank, the program follows credit guidelines based on criteria such as up-to-date car insurance and telephone and rent payments.

Potential buyers must pass a certification course offered by Bank of America and its housing counseling partners.
