INSS will pay 13th to new retirees in November

by

The INSS (Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social) will pay, in November, the 13th to policyholders who started receiving the benefit in 2022, after the first and second installments have been advanced.

The amounts are proportional, according to the number of months in which the insured started to receive retirement, pension or INSS assistance, but will be paid in full. The consultation to find out how much you will receive will be made through the Meu INSS app or website and will only be opened in November.

The 13th will be deposited to these beneficiaries as of November 24, according to the institute’s official payment schedule. Deposits end on December 7th. Releases begin first for policyholders entitled to a minimum wage (R$ 1,212). From December 1st, the amounts paid are paid to those who earn above the national floor.

The amounts are proportional to the number of months in which the benefit was paid. In 2023, these policyholders will receive the income together with the other beneficiaries, if they are retirees and pensioners. For those who receive aid for temporary disability, former sickness aid, the payment continues to be made in a proportional way.

Retirees, pensioners and those who receive aid are entitled to the 13th of the INSS. Beneficiaries of the BPC (Continued Payment Benefit) and Lifetime Monthly Income do not have 13th.

My INSS will show values

The insured who uses the Meu INSS application or the meu.inss.gov.br website can check the dates and amounts of benefits before payment, but for that, it is necessary to register a password. Meu INSS also provides information such as the benefit payment statement and the margin for consigned credit.

Anticipation was made in April and May as an electoral strategy

The anticipation of the benefit, as occurred in 2020 and 2021, was released by President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in April. In all, 31.6 million INSS beneficiaries are entitled to the 13th. Currently, the institute pays benefits to 36 million citizens, but not all of them receive the Christmas bonus.

The first installment was released in April and the second in May, according to the usual schedule for releasing social security benefits.
