Investigated for the crime of sexual harassment within the BBB 23, MC Guimê went to the police station to testify in the early afternoon of this Monday (20), in the neighborhood of Jacarepaguá, in Rio de Janeiro. Both he and Cara de Sapato were summoned by the Civil Police to appear at the Deam (Delegation Specialized in Assistance to Women).
The investigation surrounding the case that happened inside the reality headquarters is still ongoing. Both would have committed the crime against Mexican Dania Mendez, during a party on the program.
The crime of sexual harassment is provided for in Article 215-A of Law No. 13,718, which deals with “committing a libidinous act against someone and without their consent with the aim of satisfying one’s own lust or that of a third party”. The penalty for the crime can reach five years of imprisonment.
Practices that aim to satisfy sexual desire can be considered libidinous acts, such as groping a person without their consent, as in the case of the MC, or kissing by force, as Cara de Sapato did with Dania.
After being expelled from the program, the funk singer apologized for what he did. “I am heartbroken, still processing everything, there is a lot of information. I am very upset for the moment, you will be able to see my words and I will tell you about all this and recognize my faults. I have a humble and open heart to recognize, I know that I made a mistake”, he said he.
The fighter, on the other hand, said that he needed to see the scenes recorded on the program to “reframe the look”. “It was all very troubled, it happened very fast and it made me sad. I’ve always valued well-being and never imagined myself in that situation, at the time I didn’t realize that I could be crossing the line. For me, it’s a path of deconstruction, which is not an on and off button,” he said.
