Former reporter for the Globo program Esquenta!, Nathalia Santos, 30, is in a stable situation in a hospital in Rio de Janeiro after undergoing surgery. She was shot in the hip after a robbery.
Appearing live on the Encontro program, he said that at the time everything happened, he was only thinking about his children and that he didn’t even realize that it was a robbery.
“We didn’t receive the announcement of the attack. It was out of nowhere, and we heard the two bullets. I was hit and I told my husband to take me to the hospital. I just thought about my children and said: ‘I don’t want to die, I don’t want to die'”, he told presenter Patricia Poeta.
She remains in the ICU and is being monitored after femur surgery. “The bullet remains lodged. But the doctors are optimistic,” she said.
According to Nathalia, there is still no movement in her feet, but that is something that does not worry her at the moment. “I’m happy to be alive,” she highlighted.
The reporter was in a taxi that she took on Monday morning (12), in the central region of the capital of Rio de Janeiro, after seeing the second day of the samba school parades in Rio de Janeiro, in SapucaÃ.
O F5 contacted the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro to find out more about the case, but did not receive a response until the last update of this report.
