(News Bulletin 247) – As of May 1, 2023, Daniel Leimbach will take charge of Ericsson’s Western Europe client unit, in addition to his role as Managing Director of Germany, the company announces . Based in Düsseldorf, he will lead business with clients in Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
The key themes of his management program are the translation of Ericsson innovations into pioneering projects with customers, the implementation of sustainable mobile broadband communication solutions and the use of 5G technology in Industry 4.0, critical infrastructure and new consumer services.
Daniel Leimbach has been with Ericsson for over 15 years. He became vice president in 2011 and took responsibility for clients such as Telefónica Germany and Vodafone Germany, and also worked for Ericsson in Asia.
Since 2022, he has been acting chef and responsible for several clients in Western Europe. Daniel Leimbach holds an MBA from Oxford University, a degree in business administration (BA) and a bachelor’s degree from the Open University in London.
