The girl was in a very bad condition for this reason and was intubated and transferred to the Hippocrates Hospital of Thessaloniki, where she remained for 6 months until her death.

Heartbreaking moments unfolded on July 1 in Aliveri, Volos, where the family, friends and neighbors of 14-year-old Eleni accompanied her to her last residence. The medical examiner, Grigoris Leon, pointed out that a forensic examination is able to clarify whether we are talking about an electric shock, as the current when it enters the body causes a burn and characteristic changes in organs, for example the heart.

It is noted that abrasions were found on the girl’s face and neck, the cause of which is unknown at the moment.

Regarding aspiration, Mr. Leon said: “A loss of consciousness even for a moment can cause us an inability to separate food or liquids and find the right way which is the esophagus and enter our respiratory network and obstruct the bronchial branches and create pneumonia’.
