Benefits: What payments will be made by e-EFKA, DYPA and OPECA until September 30

The payment of the main and supplementary October pensions, the advance payment of pension for the same month and the payment of the benefits of the Organization of Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA) for September, includes, among other things, the planning of payments for the week of 26- September 30. In total, it is estimated that almost 2.5 billion euros will be paid to over 5.5 million beneficiaries.

In particular, as stated in an announcement by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs:

1. In the period 26-30 September, the e-EFKA will make the following payments, as part of the organization’s regular payments:

– On Tuesday, September 27, 537.9 million euros will be paid for the main and supplementary September pensions to 949,123 pensioners from the former entities OAEE, OGA, NAT, ETAT, ETAA, ETAP-MME and PPC.

– On Wednesday, September 28, 753.6 million euros will be paid to 1,502,825 pensioners of the State, IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires on 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.

– On Thursday, September 29, 754.8 million euros will be paid to 1,505,322 pensioners of the State, IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires on 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.

– On Thursday, September 29, 7.5 million euros will be paid to 20,000 beneficiaries for pension advances for the month of October, based on Law 4778/2021.

– Finally, next week, 16.2 million euros will be paid to 680 beneficiaries following the issuance of one-off decisions.

2. The following payments will be made by DYPA:

– 15 million euros to 35,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.

– 20 million euros will be paid to 17,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programs.

– 7 million euros will be paid to 1,500 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.

– 3 million euros will be paid to 300 beneficiaries for programs of a public interest nature (payment of contributions to institutions).

3. OPECA will make the following payments on Friday, September 30:

– 160 million euros to 751,000 beneficiaries for family allowances for children.

– 71.3 million euros to 173,550 beneficiaries for disability benefits (disability and maintenance).

– 47.7 million euros to 224,486 beneficiaries for Minimum Guaranteed Income.

– 33.8 million euros to 280,840 beneficiaries for housing allowance.

– 11.2 million euros to 35,043 beneficiaries for uninsured elderly benefits.

– 11.4 million euros to 11,453 beneficiaries for birth allowance.

– 250,000 euros to 1,200 beneficiaries as a State contribution to loans of the “GEFYRA” program (due to COVID-19).

– 259,850 euros to 810 beneficiaries for housing assistance allowance.

– 214,100 euros to 6,100 beneficiaries for expatriate allowance.

– 195,000 euros to 2,800 beneficiaries as a State contribution to loans (main residence protection).

– 106,623 euros to 135 beneficiaries for funeral expenses of the uninsured.
