In an incredible complaint about the EFKA systems, a pregnant woman made a complaint to .

“I don’t know why I am a man. But at least that’s what I was told. Basically, this is how I personally saw it through the EFKA in my individual data”, the pregnant Maria Pitsidimou told SKAI, explaining how she found out that the EFKA has registered her as… a man.

She entered EFKA’s online services in order to find out what she is entitled to due to pregnancy, but an automated message informed her that these apply to female citizens.

“It gave me an automated message on the platform, which said that the benefit platform is for female citizens,” said Maria Pitsidimou, who is 8 months pregnant.

“Nobody knew how it happened”

Regarding the actions he took, he said: “Initially I called 1555 and there was a marathon of phone calls, because no one knew how this happened and what happened. I made an online appointment.. However, they informed me that I will have to go to the registry at EFKA and make an appointment in person. I asked what documents I needed to have with me, because simply going over there I don’t know if it did them since in my personal information, I was declared as a man” and he added:

“They told me about the documents that I would have to present that I would have to go in person and they told me that they asked me to go to a clearing house to see the VAT number and even a birth certificate.”

Mrs. Pitsidimou said that the meeting with EFKA is scheduled for Friday.
