The debate continues in the Parliament about the accuracy

“The Greek people have a wise saying. Better late than never. We managed to bring you to the Parliament shortly before the European elections for the most basic problem of the Greek people, which concerns punctuality”, emphasized Mr. Famellos at the beginning of his speech.
In fact, Mr. Famellos “threw down the gauntlet” to the prime minister for the Tempeas he invited him to take a position on whether the government will dare to consent to the establishment of a preliminary investigation committee after the lawsuit against ministers that reached the Parliament yesterday Thursday (23/5).
“The letter to von der Leyen is hypocritical”
The president of the KO of SYRIZA described the Prime Minister’s letter to the President of the Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, as “hypocrisy”, while at the same time he accused the government of not implementing the European measures and the rules of the Commission.
“The letter to Ursula von der Leyen shows that you have not been adequate for 5 years and you are asking for solutions from the Commission”, noted Mr. Famellos. “The mechanism of the multinationals was known to you from the report of the Competition Commission”, he added.
“You only discover the super profits of companies when you are under political pressure. You are asking for measures from Europe when our country does not apply the Commission’s measures”, he commented and added:
“You don’t come to Parliament because you have nothing to tell us about the non-application of European rules. The problem in our country is Mr. Mitsotakis and his politics and we have to deal with that.”
“You told us the problem was external, then you told us we would solve it with the ever-announced baskets, then with supermarket price signs. Today you are lying to us about recognizing the problem. And your last firework is the letter to the European Commission,” he said.
