The reaction of PASOK MP Pavlos Geroulanos was caused by the statement of Nikos Androulakis about the bad election result in Attica.
With his post on Facebook, Mr Geroulanos notes that “We all sweated the shirt”, stressing that all his fellow MPs in Attica worked collectively and managed to strengthen the power of PASOK.
He also emphasizes that in the party’s institutions, when they meet, he will speak in detail and describe the reasons that led to the election result of June 9.

The post in detail:
I had decided that whatever I had to say about the election result, I would say it to the institutions.
That’s what I’ll do. But since, since Sunday night, there has been talk that PASOK paid for the “great asymmetry between the Region and Athens”, which in some parapolitics even goes as far as targeting MPs, I took it personally.
And I took it personally, because we melted shoes in the European elections, everyone in Athens First, the Prefecture, the local organizations, everyone.
And I looked at the numbers. Because it’s good to talk in numbers.
So let’s see what happened in these European elections:
1. Of all the constituencies where PASOK has a member of parliament, in Athens A we had the biggest percentage increase in our result, compared to the national elections a year ago. 28% percentage increase, since you trusted me for MP.
2. Athens A was the only Electoral District where, as PASOK, we managed to increase even the absolute number of votes we got in relation to the national elections, a year ago.
3. And in the Basin? Apart from Athens A, in all Electoral Regions of Lekanopedi where we have a member of parliament, and in Milena, and Pavlos, and Manolis, and Nadias, PASOK increased its percentages more than the national average. As a whole, Lekanopedio contributed substantially to the overall increase in PASOK’s percentage.
4. Are we celebrating? Obviously not. We are still very low, but the work has begun and is bearing fruit.
Because there isn’t a member of parliament or executive who didn’t sweat his shirt off in these elections. No one threw a strike, no one ran more than another.
If you noticed, I always speak in the first plural, “got ME”, “achieved ME”, “raised ME”.
Do you know why; Because we will only move forward when we stand collectively, admit and recognize when work is done and do not seek to pass the blame, without making a proper assessment of reality.
A big thank you to our parliamentary group who do work in society, in Parliament and in the media.
A big thank you, then, to those who contributed to this result.
This is what unity dictates.
That’s for now. The rest about what was wrong, where it belongs.
