OFI announced Iseka

And officially his football player OFI is the Aaron Leya Isekawith the Cretans announcing the acquisition of the Belgian striker from Barnsley.

The 26-year-old forward signed a contract that will keep him in Heraklion until his summer 2025.

PAE OFI announces the acquisition of footballer Aaron Leya Iseka from Barnsley, with the Belgian signing a 1.5 year contract with our team.

The 26-year-old striker, an international with Belgium U21, competes both up top and on the wings of the attack. Born in Belgium on November 15, 1997, he comes from the youth ranks of Anderlecht, with whose U19s he played in the UEFA Youth League, while he has 19 appearances for the first team in domestic competitions and the UEFA Europa League.

In the summer of 2016, he was loaned to Marseille (9 appearances), while the next stage of his career was Zulte Waregem (32 appearances, 8 goals), with whose shirt he also competed in the UEFA Europa League.

In July 2018 he returned to France, initially for Toulouse (57 appearances, 8 goals) and then for FC Metz (24 appearances, 5 goals).

In August 2021, he was acquired by transfer from Barnsley (27 appearances, 3 goals), while in the following years he played in Turkey, in Adanaspor (10 appearances, 2 goals) & Tuzlaspor (11 appearances, 4 goals). Last summer he was loaned out to Hapoel Hadera in Israel, where he played in two matches, scoring once, but due to the war in the Middle East he returned to Barnsley, before wearing the shirt of our team.
