Ten people have been killed and scores injured in a spate of knife attacks in two remote Canadian communities, police said, as they launched a three-province manhunt to capture the two suspects.
“We have recorded 10 deaths in 13 locations in the communities of James Smith Cree Nason and Weldon, Saskatchewan,” said Rhonda Blackmore, the deputy director of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, during a press conference.
“Many other victims were injured, of which 15 have so far been admitted to various hospitals,” the officer added.

According to the initial data of the investigation, some victims appear to have been targeted by the suspects, while others were targeted by accident.
