Ensuring the duration of military and economic aid to Ukraine, Charles Michel asked EU leaders

European Council President Charles Michel called on European Union leaders to “guarantee” that “military and financial support to Ukraine” will be of the required duration at Thursday’s summit in Brussels.

“Our future growth prospects depend not only on our ability to manage the energy shock in the short term, but also on the ability of our industries to remain competitive, our ability to innovate and invest in tomorrow’s technologies,” insisted Mr. .Michelle.

The session is also expected to discuss relations with the US, in light of the economic decisions taken by the Joe Biden administration earlier this year, in particular the massive stimulus under the Inflation Reduction Act. , IRA), added the 46-year-old president of the European Council.
