Ten people have been pulled dead from its ruins apartment building where collapsed on Monday at Alexandria her Egyptwhile the fate of at least five remains unknown, according to a newer report broadcast by the Nile TV network.

Earlier today, rescuers found a 24-year-old man dead, while two bodies were recovered late Tuesday night.

Four injured were discharged in the last hours from the hospital where they had been treated on Monday.

The governor of Alexandria, Mohammed Taher, described to Nile TV that the apartment building was “cut in two” and then collapsed. During the summer months, this particular housing complex hosted mainly holidaymakers.

Criminal charges were brought against the contractor and the owner for negligent homicide and urban planning violations.
