“President Biden has been clear that the U.S. will not send troops to fight in Ukraine,” National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said, adding that the president believes “the path to victory” requires military assistance that currently block Congress.

Biden is meeting with senior lawmakers at the White House to discuss funding issues, including aid to Ukraine.

Last night, Macron declared that the deployment of Western troops to the battlefields in Ukraine in the future it cannot be “blocked”. Reacting today, numerous European countries ruled out such a possibility.
