Crowds packed the harbor forecourt to watch the royal couple visit on Tuesday afternoon.
Before they arrived, Mr Wayne Whartona well-known Indigenous activist from Brisbane, was arrested after shouting anti-royal slogans and refusing police orders to leave the scene.
It is recalled that tension also prevailed on Monday in the Australian Parliament in Canberra at the time when King Charles was making an official visit.
Specifically, while the British monarch had ascended to the podium and was delivering his speech, Senator Lydia Thorpe interrupted him with insults, causing confusion in the room.
Senator Thorpe shouted “f**k the colony” and “You are not my king. You committed genocide against our people’ while she was wrapped in an indigenous Aboriginal fur coat, as seen in the video below.
